Club President Gary D’Ornellas said: At the Show, we get visitors from Toronto, the GTA, many parts of Ontario and other provinces, as well as from the United States and even the Caribbean! The show is not just for exhibitors to show their birds and win prizes: we also attract many people who may be considering adding a pet bird to their household. Our vendors have birds for sale, cages, food, toys and accessories. There are also great gift items available, perfect for the upcoming holiday season.

Show Manager Jeremy Faria added: We are happy that people from all walks of life attend the show, including many who want to purchase a bird, perhaps even their first; expert breeders, and those who want to start breeding birds; and families who simply want their children to enjoy the beauty of all the colourful, exotic birds. The judging offers people who aren’t as familiar with bird shows the chance to learn about different species of birds, whatever their interest may be.

Throughout our programs, we focus on developing foundational skills & teaching fundamental truths that empower and equip our NextGen leaders to own their identities, continue their development, practice leadership and positively impact our world! We accomplish this though team-building activities, one-on-one coaching & group mentorship sessions, Plan to Protect Certification, First Aid training, skills development sessions, hands-on practice and intentional teaching about our identity as leaders who love Jesus and others.

OACFP Charity Golf Day

About the eventOACFP Charity Golf Day

The Unforgettables Fund was established at The Hospital for Sick Children to help families with limited resources at a critical time to provide a dignified funeral and burial for their child. It’s a heart-breaking, inconceivable reality for many families. To add to that heartache, often, parents have sacrificed their income and depleted their savings in order to have just one more day.

Imagine putting your life on hold to do what’s most important – spend time with your gravely ill son or daughter, only to find you have exhausted your financial resources and cannot afford a funeral or burial.

All proceeds from this golf tournament will be donated to The Unforgettables Fund.
